Thank you archives New Zealand. That was a real blast from the past. I was a 60's Pony Club kid and then went into the racing industry. Eric Ropiha is still alive and still involved with horses although now in poor health. Bet you didn't know that he went on to also be one of NZ's top Dressage riders in the early days of the sport in this country with his mare Felicitation.
