I had a beat up old pink 16mm copy of this years ago that I loaned to a friend and he lost it. I found another copy years later and still have that one. I used to show 16mm movies at my house and to anyone new there, the regulars and I would suggest they stayed back to see 'Holiday For Susan' inferring it was a porn film. Then we started it...by the time they realised it wasn't a porn film, they were too busy laughing to worry. Especially the scene where he takes their photo on the plane and of course, the proposal at the end.

A brilliant time-capsule that captures my memories well. How coincidental that I saw this 5Sep10 and that the mockumentary also highlighted Christchurch. My thoughts are with them.
