Really enjoyed this wartime love story.
Very cleverly done.

I have just seen the film Home by Christmas here in AKL and it was one of the best films I have viewed in a long time. The use of vintage wartime footage enhanced the experiance. Thanks Gaylene a first class job!

Fantastic film. Watched it tonight in Vancouver, on TV's Knowledge Network. As a Kiwi living in Canada for decades (and also as a fan of all things West Coast in NZ), I loved it. This is among the best docudramas I've seen on any subject. That darn understated Ed had me in tears at the end, and I'm not a crier. That "Tu? Tui?" at the end... oh yeah, all done perfectly.
