Director Brendan Donovan’s debut short Here (2001), made while he was directing commcericals in America, featured Lee Majors as an aging hit-man. Since returning to NZ Donovan has pursued drama, winning Qantas awards for innovative ensemble series Insiders Guide to Love, and disaster tele-movie Aftershock (2008). His first feature is family comedy drama The Hopes & Dreams of Gazza Snell.
I would love to do a third series and always will. It's a programme that is dear to my heart.
