Catherine Saunders moved from radio into TV in the mid 60s, writing and presenting stories for magazine show Town and Around. Alongside a career in public relations and marketing, Saunders went on to an extended run as a panellist on Beauty and the Beast. She has also hosted TV's The Tonight Show, her own Radio New Zealand slot, and produced RNZ hit Top Of the Morning for five years, with Brian Edwards.
