After six years as a rock singer, the multi-talented Cohen Holloway began showcasing his gift for impersonation both on stage, and in TV sketch show Facelift. In 2009 he won a Qantas best actor award, after portraying the falsely-imprisoned David Dougherty in TV’s Until Proven Innocent. The Toi Whakaari graduate recently moved into feature films (Boy); his most recent role is as a policeman in After the Waterfall.
... on the set he'd be telling terrible jokes - blue jokes, purple jokes - and then he’d switch like that, and you’d get David. It was such a transition ... he wasn’t just putting a face on, he’d switch into this character.
– Actor Peter Elliott, on working with Holloway in Until Proven Innocent
