Gabrielle Paringatai is a television presenter who has hosted youth shows Mai Time, I Am TV and Māori language programme Kōrerō Mai.  She is a fluent speaker of Māori and a former teacher. Paringatai is Ngāti Porou on her father's side, and Ngāti Ruanui, Ngā Rauru and Ngāti Hine on her mother's.
