Producer George Andrews has been making documentaries about New Zealand for more than thirty years, including the Landmarks documentary series. In 2002 he was made an officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to television.
In 1981 three years of hard work culminated in the screening of Landmarks - attracting the largest viewing audience ever achieved by a local documentary series.
