Kathryn Burnett has written scripts for film, TV and theatre, plus Qantas Media award-winning columns and the book Has Johnny Come Lately? She is a past winner of a British Council television scholarship, and past executive director of the NZ Writers Guild. In 2003 Burnett won an NZ Film and TV Award (with co-writer Paula Boock) for The Strip. Since 2005 she has worked as a story editor and script consultant.
This show is unusual because it's heartfelt and yet totally irreverent and whimsical ... it isn't politically correct. And it's not coy about sex. But it's sex largely from a female point of view.
