Biography

Sacha joined TVNZ as an assistant editor and soon had their primordial Avid purring under her keen eye and dexterous fingertips.  After four years, Sacha diligently threw herself into a year of assistant film editing and was awoken to the tangible pleasures of 16mm film.

The Northern Hemisphere soon beckoned. Her foreign charm proved irresistible to the Anglo-Saxon tribes, and despite the lack of sunlight and drinkable coffee, Sacha thrived for five years in London's cut-throat freelance environment. Her editing expertise, people skills and creativity drew in an eclectic cache of clients including the BBC and the SciFi Channel. Accolades, awards and complimentary champagne flowed freely.

On her return to New Zealand, Sacha was instantly hired by Sauce Post, where she was utilised as senior and most-loved editor, working tirelessly on commercials, corporates, documentaries, short film and music videos.

Then the wild world of freelance beckoned, and Sacha continues to weave her magic on shows like A Taste of Home and New Zealand's Got Talent.
