Actor/director Simon Prast is best-known for his stage career, and his 11 years commanding the Auckland Theatre Company. Prast's screen-acting career dates back to the mid 80s, most famously for his role as rich kid Alister Redfern in TV soap Gloss. His biggest feature role to date is Stephen, man-at-the-crossroads in 1998 feature film When Love Comes.
Simon Prast is subtle, compassionate and funny, and he relishes edgy moments, which was great. He wouldn’t pull back from something - he’d push it further.
– Garth Maxwell, on directing Prast in the movie When Love Comes.
