Tim Balme burst onto the big screen as the hapless young man fighting off zombies with lawnmowers, in Peter Jackson's Braindead. Since then he has alternated movies with appearances on the small screen in Mercy Peak, Shortland Street and Maddigan's Quest. Balme has also written for Interrogation and the top-rating Outrageous Fortune. He is now Head of Development for South Pacific Pictures.
