It would be fantastic to be able to embed (a la YouTube, Vimeo and many others) the videos into my blog. It would be a cracking way to spread the word and get the vids out there.

We're working on it! Currently we have licence only to show material from within the NZ On Screen site - but we have an embed option coming very soon which will apply to programmes or films which agree to have their videos embeddable. Check back in a month or so!

Hi Mike. Did you know that embedding is now an option on some of the titles on the site? You can see which ones by filtering the titles in Explore - selected "Embeddable" from the filter table and you'll see a list of all the titles that you can embed.
Our embed player is pretty awesome - it is resizeable, and includes a menu for the extra clips, synopsis, credits etc.
It's not everything in the site ... the usual rights issues ... but it's a start :)
