Script Needs Director! (Transit of Venus)

Kia Ora and Hello. I am looking for a true visionary with film experience to direct and consult on a draft script completed to first draft. The script is called 'Transit of Venus' written from the book written by Rowan Metcalfe, a Katherine Mansfield short story winner. I feel this script is ready for the next stage and is quite an undertaking...it would suit a director with a quirky but intense vision. The story follows Mauatua, written from her view, as she experiences her country Tahiti being 'invaded' in all sorts of ways by Christian Fletcher and friends.
