What was the first Computer Gfx made in NZ?

I'm doing a presentation on the  history of computer graphics and 3D on New Zealand screens.

What was the first computer generated TV clip/ad/film sequence produced in NZ?  Surely something in the 80s? - but was there anything earlier?

Hi Stephen - have you had a chance to watch Chris Wilks' documentary From Len Lye to Gollum?  It provides an overview of the history of New Zealand animation and animators, and includes a section on computer animation. In terms of music videos, Peking Man's 1985 hit Room that Echoes may be worth a look, but I'm sure there will be examples that go back far earlier. And among feature films, George Port's diverse work on 1994's Heavenly Creatures is obviously another major Kiwi landmark.
