5 Years from now ... where will NZ On Screen be?

We're doing a bit of future-gazing here at NZ On Screen and thinking about where we could/should/might be in 2-5 years. This could be content, technology, design, platforms, support ... anything really.

NZ On Screen has the past covered brilliantly… but what about new film? What if NZoS showcased student work?

 

NZoS could connect writers, directors, actors and technical folk and help them with the process from concept through to showcasing the final film on the site.

 

NZoS could host experiments that encourage collaboration and remixing of video/films, similar to http://hitrecord.org/reel.

 

NZoS could host a series like screentalk that follows productions currently filming in New Zealand. It would be great to see behind the scenes during the production, from larger films to small productions.

I agree with Heath's comments.  It would be great to see NZOS championing up and coming filmmakers by giving them the early exposure from an authoratitive voice, that they might not usually get.
