hmm - everyone might know that one but did you know that the title 'Outrageous Fortune' comes from Hamlet as does every episode name? You can read about it on the Outrageous Fortune Faq page.

Van is a legend! Has anyone seen the international formats of Outrageous Fortune? I did some research for a Screen and Media paper earlier this year and came across the UK verison 'Honest' The family has been renamed 'The Carters.' You can tell a lot of the narrative and the character profiles are based quite heavily on the original, especially Pascalle and Van (whose name is changed to Vin!) And they have tried to remake Munter minus the Maori and the mullet. Goes to show nobody can do it quite like us!
I definitely recommend it for a laugh.
