This Christmas special was the final swansong of Ask Your Auntie, one of the most popular shows on Maori Television until it was axed in 2007. With regular host Ella Henry at the helm, this programme features nine of the regular panellists, all Māori women with strong opinions and fluent in te reo. As you might expect from a Christmas edition, this show eschews the tough and gritty for more uplifting subjects, such as what to feed your Christmas guests. Musical entertainment is provided by the Tama Waipara Band and singer Ringiringi Manawaiti.
