Artist Overview

Blindspott carved out a nu-metal niche for themselves with breakthrough single 'Nil By Mouth' in 2001. A West Auckland take on the US West Coast-metal of the likes of Linkin Park and Korn, the release of a petrol-fuelled self-titled album followed in 2002, debuting at number one. It was a feat repeated in 2006 with second album End the Silence. This unfortunately was the end for Blindspott however, when they disbanded in 2007. They reformed temporarily for the 2009 Homegrown festival.
