the greatest rider of our generation who made speedway what it is today a former falcons supporter i followed ivan everywhere and was fortunate enough to be involved in getting ivan back to the county ground for their farewell meeting and was a great honour to meet him once again after so many years atrue gentleman and my signed copy of his book is my pride and joy my only regret was never getting hold of the triple crown badge but live in hope

Great film, sadly i never got too see Ivan at his peak, remember seeing him at Belle Vue around 1986, racing some scratch races against another aces legend Peter Collins. You can see Ivans dedication, a true speedway legend, how both Belle Vue and New Zealand could do with someone of Ivans calibre now!!!!

Watching this brought back so many memories of Ivans time at Newcastle when Ivan & Raye became very good friends with my parents Jack & Eileen, these were the golden years of speedway and there is no other ambassador for their sport that comes near to Ivan who puts as much back into their particular sport to bring on new talent

I really enjoyed watching this, having been born in 1959 and only watching since 1970, I hardly remember Ivan. But he showed great skills that other riders wanted.
