Series Synopsis

Extraordinary Kiwis has screened over three series for Prime TV (up to 2011). Each episode showcases a particular New Zealander in their natural habitat and looks at the activities that make them extraordinary; subjects range from household names to unsung heroes. Most recent host Clarke Gayford willingly steps up to the plate to experience their world: from trying to keep up with All Black star Dan Carter, to duck shooting with a designer, fishing in Antarctica, trying his luck at being a stand-up comedian, and looking for landmines.
