False Start won the regional heat in the 2005 Battle of the Bands and then claimed first-equal in the Auckland final. From West Auckland the power popster/rockers' debut EP, Goodbye Summer, sold out on its first night of release. Belying their name, they recorded solid sales for follow-up studio albums, Adore Tu Ser and Through The Looking Glass.
