 Gallery

 Series Synopsis

Gallery was the programme that launched Brian Edwards' television career. His confrontational style of interrogating politicians and public figures was new to New Zealand television, and it polarised viewers (it earned Edwards a reputation as the "mad mauler"). Gallery began as a studio-based programme that discussed political issues on a Friday night, but was soon expanded. Famous for  the interview that mediated the Post Office industrial dispute, Gallery took on the topical and controversial issues and politics of the day.
