Are ghosts real? This series attempts to answer that question by visiting NZ’s most haunted places in the dead of night. The three presenters become paranormal investigators, trying to detect ghosts in some of NZ’s iconic spooky locations. Among the hotels, mansions and theatres explored are Dunedin’s Larnach Castle, and the Waitomo Caves Hotel. Former What Now presenter Carolyn Taylor is the most obviously frightened of the three hosts. A highlight is the foreboding abandoned psychiatric hospital.
