She was lovely. But then headed off to Australia to follow the Fame and Fortune. Stories of drugs like heroin took the shine off the cream of many musos in the day. For years later Dragon and others who crossed the ditch were dragged down on their way up.

I remember TVNZ Heartland's "From The Archives" showing a short peice from an Allison Durbin special called "Girls to watch music by", you's should try to get it up here.

The night she won the Loxene Golden Disc was unforgettable - great television. Wayne Senior deserves credit for his arrangement - it out-classes the US original.
