TVNZ6 have been playing reruns of the show from the 70's through to Hawkesby's last series in 1990. I suspect that there must be some editions missing as not all of the 1970's shows have been replayed and not all of Hawkesby's first series (1986) have been replayed either.

There were usually two series per year, however there was only one in 1986 and 1990 respectively.

It's in the Bag screened until 1990. Selwyn Toogood ended his reign at the helm in 1979. It was revived in the 80s with John Hawkesby (1986?) and later Nick Tansley hosting. The format was reprised by Maori Television in 2009 with Pio Terei hosting ...

That was simply wonderful! The people, the prizes, the beautiful Heather, and the charming Mr Toogood! I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat telling the contestants the answers, even though the show took place decades ago. I wonder whatever happened to Paul (who won the motorbike) and Olwyn the computer programmer, and especially Mrs Duncan who won the "colour television receiver."
