Midnight Youth hit the ground running in 2009 when their first album The Brave Don't Run debuted at number two, while in the same week singles 'The Letter' and 'All On Our Own' were sitting in the top 20. The album was recorded in New York and won favour with US industry heavyweights, who invited the Auckland lads to play Hollywood's infamous Viper Room. The band also played the SXSW festival in Texas, before returning home to support The Veronicas on tour.
