Agree with the others here, if this 10 minute segment can be cleaned up (and this is the best quality I've seen of this movie, by the way), it would be great if the rest of the movie could be digitally cleaned up and released as well, either on DVD or for digital download. This is a great under-rated classic with some awesome scenery of NZ from days gone by.

Whilst not mentioned in the credits I was the Mercedes passenger stunt man for the Arahura bridge train smash. A great day out with cast and crew.

I will add to what most others have stated - This needs to be cleaned up and digitised for re-release to DVD. I have no doubt that it would sell, but add optional English subtitles as well.

I agree this is a Kiwi Classic, I haven't seen this movie for years and want to see it again, PLEASE RELEASE this on DVD for all the fans, its a real cracker

Is there any news at all if this movie is ever going to be released on dvd. I have a copy on VHS off the tv, but nothing to play it on :-(

@Nic and George, sorry we don't have any info on a DVD release for the film, but we know some rental outlets still have copies available to rent on VHS.
