Pulp Sport began life as a radio show — the brainchild of copy writers Ben Boyce ("Ben") and Jamie Linehan ("Bill"). After making a TV debut on Sky, it moved to C4 then TV3 and won two Qantas Awards for Best Comedy. Wayward, fast moving and skit based (but not limited to sports), it saw its presenters risk life and limb, and featured guest celebrities happily sending themselves up (with streakers and mascots never far away). Guerrilla shoots — at the expense of bewildered passersby, fellow TV hosts and unwitting security guards — were also a show staple.
