Television, 2009 (Arts/Culture, Documentary)
twenty-seven names is the fashion label run by irrepressible friends Rachel Easting and Anjali Stewart, who met as girls at primary school in Wellington. The Gravy found them preparing for their first major solo show at Fashion Week in 2008. Their Crazy Horse collection was an attempt to find the middle ground between "ultra girly" and "ultra masculine" - and was inspired by American poet and musician Patti Smith who they admire for her "mean-as androgynous style". Watch also for unwitting cameos from columnist/radio personality Kerre Woodham and a courier.
