The Topp Twins - Do Not Adjust Your Twin-Set

Television, 1996–2000

The Topp Twins first made their name as a country music singing comedy duo as buskers, and via extensive tours. In the mid 1990s the twins and their manager Arani Cuthbert launched a TV series. Running three seasons, it showcased a beloved cast of Kiwi characters including Camp Mother, the Bowling Ladies and the cross-dressing Ken and Ken. After two seasons as The Topp Twins - Do Not Adjust Your Twin-Set, the show was renamed The Topp Twins. The twins took part in everything from triathlons to speedway races and the Pasifika festival. The show won several gongs at the NZ Film and TV Awards. In Australia it screened on the ABC and Foxtel.
