Tiger Tones are a young indie pop band from Christchurch who formed in 2006, and have released a debut album on Pinacolada Records. Of the self-titled album, Groove Guide writer Sarah Gooding wrote: "A slickly produced affair of Rapture-esque quality that radiates laser beams of synthonic cacophony, breathing life into any listener." Tiger Tones are James Grant, Mark Holland, Ashlin Raymond and Andy Frost. The band won Best Breakthrough Act at the 2007 bNet awards.
