Alison Mau has been a regular on New Zealand television for over 20 years, including time on Newsnight, Breakfast, and at the launch of TVNZ’s primetime show Seven Sharp. In this ScreenTalk Short, Mau remembers news show Eyewitness, the horrors of breakfast television, the enigma of Mike Hosking, begging Paul Henry, feeling badly treated over the Paul Holmes show — and loving both the advocacy journalism of Fair Go and her job in radio.
