Petra Bagust first won television fame in 1996, as one of TV3's irreverent Ice TV trio. Since then she has shown her versatility by fronting everything from quiz shows and charity boxing events, to awards ceremonies. The high-rating What's Really in Our Food? saw her nominated for a 2009 Qantas Best Presenter award. In December 2010 TVNZ announced she would become the new co-host of TV One's Breakfast programme.
Petra is `everywoman'. She is lively, great with people and she genuinely cares. Her enthusiasm is infectious.
– TV3 executive Sue Woodfield
