Artist Overview

Garageland released their first album, Come Back Special, in 1995 and became the darlings of the b-nets, while providing a soundtrack to the 90s for students up and down the country. Part of the Flying Nun family, the indie rockers from Auckland went on to record three gold albums in New Zealand. Internationally, the band has achieved moderate success - entering the UK indie charts twice, playing Reading Festival and receiving positive reviews in Rolling Stone and NME.
