Series Synopsis

Homegrown Profiles is the cheaply made but nicely put together profiles series that was a spin-off from music channel C4's regular local music series Homegrown. The series screened in 2005 and featured episodes on the Finn Brothers, Dave Dobbyn, Bic Runga, Anika Moa, Shihad and Che Fu. The hour-long programmes featured one master interview, intercut with music videos and other performance material, all held together with a well-scripted narration by researcher/interviewer/director Jane Yee.
