SWIDT

Auckland hip hop collective SWIDT (See What I Did There?) first got together at high school in Onehunga. After bandmate Isaiah Libeau  aka producer SmokeyGotBeatz started making waves overseas for his music, SWIDT released 2016 album SWIDT vs Everybody. The compilation, featuring hit '312', was nominated for Best Urban/Hip-Hop Album at the 2016 New Zealand Music Awards (category winner Aaradhna argued that SWIDT should have won it). A year later the five-strong group dropped their official debut album Stoneyhunga, which got six nominations. The group won for Best Group and Best Hip Hop Artist.
