David Lomas Investigates

David Lomas Investigates is the third show about reuniting estranged family members by journalist, director, producer and presenter David Lomas (Holmes, Sunday and Assignment). Lomas launched his flagship show Missing Pieces in 2009, taking directing and hosting roles. The series was reborn in 2015 as the high-rating Lost and Found. Five years later Lomas  launched David Lomas Investigates. The format in each show is similar; Lomas digs for information about family mysteries, drawing on scientific help like DNA evidence. In 2025 Lomas announced a new version of his successful format, named Breakthrough.
