Despite launching her musical career at the height of a global pandemic, Mount Maunganui pop artist Georgia Lines soon scored over 1.5 million listens on Spotify. 'No One Knows' — the first single following her self-titled EP — won Best Video at the 2021 Aotearoa Music Awards. Her music videos have been praised for being as bold and emotive as her lyrics and sound. In 2021, Lines joined Auckland-based duo Laiika for her first New Zealand tour, and rereleased track 'My Love/Tōrere' in te reo Māori for Aotearoa's Waiata Anthems Week. Her tracks have also been added to a number of popular Spotify playlists worldwide.
