Give Us a Clue

Former National Party MP Paula Bennett hosts this reboot of the classic charades game show Give Us A Clue. The show features raft of famous Kiwi guests as they attempt to act out the prompts for movies, TV shows, books, songs and quotations — all while the clock is ticking. Team captains, journalist/presenter Hilary Barry and comedian Tom Sainsbury attempt to guess the charades before the time runs out. The series ran for two seasons, followed on from Kiwi Give Us A Clue shows hosted by Australian Les Thompson (in the early 1980s) and Marcus Lush and Brian Edwards (in the late 1990s). The format first debuted in England, back in 1979.
