Living Treasures

Television, 1990

Marking New Zealand's sesquicentenary celebrations, Living Treasures features Ian Fraser interviewing famous people from overseas. The so-called living treasures were invited to visit Aotearoa as part of the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. Interviewees include several Australians (Olympic swimmer Dawn Fraser, writers Clive James and Thomas Keneally), American author Alex Haley (Roots), actors Audrey Hepburn and Peter Ustinov, and Northland-based designer Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
