Ngā Pātītī Maota o te Kāinga

Hosted by Lois Whāia McIver and steel guitar player Ben Tawhiti from a backyard patio, Ngā Pātiti Maota o Te Kāinga celebrates Māori music and entertainers. The four-part te reo series showcases singers Manu Harrison, Dennis Marsh, Alex Waaka and Whale Rider actor Mabel Wharekawa-Burt. Each takes a turn at the microphone, singing everything from 80s power ballads to te reo classics, including the repertoire of Māori showbands like The Quin Tikis and The Māori Hi-Five. The show screened on Māori Television.
