P.A. for a Day

Television, 2001

Comedian and presenter Ginette McDonald gets up close and personal to a slew of interesting New Zealanders, under the guise of being their Personal Assistant for a day. Over the course of ten episodes, P.A. for a Day offered insight into some extraordinary professions. Subjects include public figures like Prime Minister Helen Clark, 'Mad Butcher' Peter Leitch and Kingz soccer coach Wynton Rufer but there were also episodes featuring those doing fascinating work outside of the public eye, such as a plastic surgeon and the Chief Censor of films and books. The series ran for one reason in 2001.
