Rubicon

The self-proclaimed saviours of fun, Rubicon released their debut album Primary in 2002, getting the "double thumbs up" from Fur Patrol's Julia Deans who described its "dirty rock 'n' roll attitude as definitely worth a listen". The Auckland-trio underwent a makeover in 2004, when two members famously resigned via an email sent to lead singer Paul Reid. Two new members and a second album, recorded in Hollywood, soon followed under the guidance of producer, Bruce Witkin (of Foo Fighters fame).
