Street Hospital

Television, 2013–2016

Documentary series Street Hospital follows a Wellington Free Ambulance paramedic crew tending to the boozed, bruised and confused, as they stumble out of Wellington pubs, clubs and events. The cameras capture the late night hospitality scene in Wellington, including punters and bouncers, bar managers and cops on the beat. The paramedics treat a wide range of drunken injuries, and deal with clientele both friendly and anti-social. Two seasons of the show were made. Street Hospital was produced by Gibson Group, whose offices used to be situated on Courtenay Place, the beating heart of Wellington's late night scene.
