The Nutters Club

Mike King's long-running live radio show about mental health spawned a four season television series of the same name — The Nutters Club. In 2010, the comedian began televising the show on Māori Television, a year after he started his talkback show on RadioLIVE. Top Shelf Productions filmed radio guests talking to host King and psychiatrist Dr David Codyre for Māori Television. Guests included Martin Crowe, Helena McAlpine, and Sir John Kirwan, as well as sex workers and drug dealers. The radio show began broadcasting on Newstalk ZB in 2013.
