Alyx Duncan has brought her paired skills in dance and filmmaking to art galleries, music videos, and shorts. Her Asian-themed video for Minuit's 'Fuji' was nominated for best video at the 2006 NZ Music Awards; short film Pandora played at festivals in Holland & Australia; and her choreographic work has been showcased in a memorable Toyota ad campaign. Duncan is currently filming experimental doco The Red House.
My experience as a performer and choreographer enhances my filmmaking, enabling me to fluidly play with rhythm, duration, time and space.
