193 cm tall Ben Barrington plays Olaf, a well-meaning but lazy God on comedy drama The Almighty Johnsons. After graduating from drama school in 2001, Barrington won a Chapman Tripp theatre award for his stage work, and was nominated for further gongs for Insiders Guide to Happiness, as the compassionate doctor on the edge of cracking up. Barrington also played Van’s gangmember nemesis in Outrageous Fortune.
At his centre William is a compassionate person ... he sees pain and people suffering, and he wants to fix it. But his weakness is that he takes things that are beyond his control quite personally. There doesn't really seem to be a stopping point.
