Audio engineer Mike Hedges has won two Oscars, for his work as re-recording mixer on Peter Jackson blockbusters The Return of the King and King Kong. Hedges worked on all three Lord of the Rings movies, as well as The Lovely Bones, District 9, and Jackson’s earlier films Heavenly Creatures and Braindead. Hedges’ extensive CV includes many top NZ films, including recent releases Boy and Home by Christmas.
