Tim Balme

Tim Balme burst onto the big screen as the hapless young man fighting off zombies with lawnmowers, in Peter Jackson's Braindead. Since then he has alternated movies with appearances on TV's Mercy Peak, Shortland Street and Maddigan's Quest. Balme also wrote tele-movie Stolen: The Baby Kahu Story, and for top-rating Outrageous Fortune. He is now Head of Development for South Pacific Pictures.

Tim had the right degree of charisma but also that volatility, the swaggering charm ...
